Steel River Group is a privately held and Indigenous-owned and operated company that was born out of a deep belief that there has never been a better time to reimagine how an Indigenous business defines, creates, and captures value for our people and alliance partners. Our operating approach is centered around our Indigenous inclusion ecosystem model, which aims to bring Steel River companies, Indigenous communities, and alliance partners together over a shared vision to create opportunities that build long-term capacity and competency. As a management entity, Steel River Group provides several corporate services to its group of companies, alliance partners, and local communities in which it works. Its execution divisions specialize in mainline pipeline construction, construction management, civil, water management, and equipment leasing and operating.
Steel River Energy Services was founded on the principle of understanding the requirements of our industry partners and through collaboration developing solutions to complex problems that fit their business demands.
Steel River Energy Services provides integrated Indigenous professional staffing services. Our objective is to offer our clients a selection and supply of professional staffing to assist in a work placement in the engineering, construction, and operations disciplines with a focus on sourcing from regional Indigenous communities. Sourcing candidates through Indigenously owned staffing services can potentially assist clients in meeting socio-economic contractual requirements.
As Industry is not offering staffing solutions as a technical Indigenous-focused service offering, this staffing model will allow Industry to meet their community commitments with minimal risk for the client or community. It also creates a conduit back to the community that offers training and lifetime employment in technical fields such as plant/field operations, trades, engineering, and project management.
In addition to the Staffing Solutions, SRES’s complimentary vertically integrated service offerings; Facility Maintenance, Facility Turn Arounds, Pipeline, and Facility construction requires similar skills developed within the Staffing model. Those transferable skills provide our Indigenous community members with additional employment opportunities within our Ecosystem.
The new expansion strengthens the service offering of Steel River Group of companies while aligning with their mission to connect industry and Indigenous communities in discovering greater opportunities together.
